LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James is known by the name of King James and is considered as one of the best basketball players ever. James has been awarded four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team as well as the two Olympic medals. James scored more points during the playoffs, has had the second most points in his career and ranks seventh among career assists. Additionally, as an NBA All-Star, James was chosen as a member of an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. James was the third player to compete in NBA Finals. And in 2022 he became first NBA player in history to earn at least 10,000 points in a career. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High School close to his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped up by media. A prep-to-pro, he was picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in 2003's NBA draft. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year the player quickly became one of the league's premier players, winning the NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010. James signed for the Miami Heat in 2010 when the team became a free agent after failing to achieve an NBA Championship in Cleveland. The announcement of his departure was broadcast in The Decision.
