LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984 is an American professional basketball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James has been widely acknowledged as one of history's most outstanding basketball stars. Michael Jordan is usually compared in discussions about which is the most outstanding player. James has four NBA champions. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic gold medals. James is an NBA All-Star and has the highest number of playoff points. He also has the second-highest point total and the seventh best career assist total. This is an NBA record that he has been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. He's played in ten NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between 2011 and the year 2018. James was chosen as a part of the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became only the third NBA player ever to score at least 10,000 points in a career. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. National media touted James as a future NBA star. He was in the process of becoming a professional and was selected as the highest choice of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. He was voted as the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. Soon he became one of the premier athletes of the NBA and was awarded an NBA MVP Award both as of 2009 and in 2010. James, who did not win the championship at Cleveland in 2010 quit as a free-agent and joined the Miami Heat. This was disclosed in The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a player who was a free agent history.
