Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. A half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father is an Argentine with Scottish as well as English roots. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy has four siblings, one at each one of their parents' previous marriages. After having lived within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was extremely stressful. She refused to learn English and hoped she could move back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in plays. After she turned 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to concentrate on her acting profession. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to become an actress and her dreams came true when she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
